KINDRED SPIRITS ANIMAL SANCTUARY
Special care rescue

For Ulla Pedersen, the retirement was never an option.  After working as a nurse, she founded the Kindred Spirits Animal Sanctuary where rejected and abandoned elder animals find their last and forever home.
This magical and uplifting place is full of joy, calmness, and love. With the help of volunteers and donors places like this can give a second chance to animals, which would not have an opportunity to survive otherwise. Learn more through the interviews with Ulla or visit Kindred Spirits Animal Sanctuary.

Rescue with results

"The focus of our program is the National Rescue & Transport Initiative. Over the last four years, we saved more than 3,650 dogs with pending euthanasia dates into our program, providing veterinarian care, socialization, quarantine, nutrition, love and attention before placing our dogs into loving, forever homes. This mission is made possible in great measure through kind and generous donors".
They rescue dogs from high kill shelters, and they rescue as many dogs as possible. The moment you see that dog on a TracysDogs truck, you know her/his new life starts. I regularly visit the TracyDogs website and Facebook Page. I watch which dogs are ready for the adoption and hope they quickly move (and they do) to the Adopted section. Between 30 to 65 dogs get adopted every month. All those lucky pups are placed on TracysDogs Truck one more time and transported to their new families. I can not wait to watch Live Adoptions every month. They are better than the best show.
Hard work, motivation, and passion stand behind saving so many lives and finding a home for every pup. There are the adoption fee and process which assure that the family is right for the dog and the dog is right for the family.  Do not miss Rhonda's Corner.

Flying Fur Animal Rescue

Guy Buys Airplane So He Can Fly Homeless Dogs To Safety
"
In the spring of 2013, network engineer and Army veteran Paul Steklenski decided to take up flying. As he was training and getting his license, he decided he wanted to welcome a dog into his family. These two things seemed totally unrelated at the time".

"We fly rescue animals in need, to shelters and furever homes, to save them from euthanization. This is usually the animals last chance for survival if they are not adopted locally.
Through a large network of shelters, ground transport, and volunteers, these animals are given a second chance at life.
We help by providing free air transport for these animals, often times moving them across the country in a single day.
We believe every animal life that can be saved is worth saving."
