wine, more wine and my hometown

WineA few weeks ago we visited Alsace, a beautiful wine region
in the northeast of France. We stayed in the historical town of Colmar, which is one of many old little charming towns offering wine tasting in a variety of wineries. The towns, or rather villages, are located next to each other and are surrounded by vineyards. I loved the feel of this historical and well-preserved region. I would return to this place with no hesitation to admire old buildings, sit in the local cafe or have a glass of my favorite, recently discovered, wine Gewurztraminer. And how romantic is that? |
more wineNext, we went to Wurzburg, which is
located in Bavaria, Germany. Wurzburg and the surrounded villages were like the extension of Alsace: old towns, eye-pleasing vineyards, local farmers markets, good food, good wine and a sense of the regional culture. |
